| Detil Spesifik | Abstract The aim of this paper is to describe the development of multimedia in puppet through utilization information and communication in globalization era. This paper is hoped give contribution and participation in international cultural district by the topic “ tantangan revitalisasi kebudayaan dalam era masyarakat ekonomi ASEAN 2015” in Jember University cooperate with Ikatan Dosen Budaya Daerah Indonesia (IKABUDI). The utilization of multimedia of puppet character uses research and development. The product is growing like software of puppet learning multimedia based of character. The component of this research is the development of learning multimedia by using figure and puppet’s character, it is hoped increasing the student’s motivation and build character and cultural society to catch globalization era. Considering advancement and development of science and technology, social, sport with culture recently need process quickly. However, the fact it doesn’t follow by development and increasing student’s motivation toward learning of puppet. There is negative image that puppet is still in ancient and outdated. An understanding of puppet is ancient and outdated with new generation like popular culture, even west culture. Puppet has acted out and has function as educative tool. By utilization of information technology and communication media puppet show is put and interesting. It is hoped help and to make easy introduce and comprehend by studying about figure and puppet’s character. Key words: Puppet, Information Technology and Communication |
